CREATION
“Creation”, written for a chapel or similar space with a large acoustic. For zither, voice and bells. Single performer.
The central instrument is a seven string zither that utilises four bridges to create a range of overtones and playing options, as well as a robotic player mechanism and rotating plectrum.
The full setup consists of zither, voice, bells, chimes and electronics and multi-channel surround, the number and location of speakers depending on the space.
