Mine and Florence To’s new installation performance under the name of CØV.
It’s based on our ongoing work to do with psycho-acoustics, modal music and entrainment, and is basically designed to be as immersive as possible. It has been created especially for Sonic-a 2015, and more particularly for the small pool at Govanhill Baths in Glasgow, home of the most incredible reverb.
We don’t like to be too prescriptive in telling what it’s all about, but there is an Egyptian thread running through it and it can be seen as the darker sibling of next year’s Transcending project.
Performances run 3 times a day, from 5th – 7th November, every half hour from 6pm.
